Nicolas,
I have a 1966 1675 gilt dial with big GMT hand which I feel is original due to the very matching patina. But the cut off point for the switch will be difficult to determine!

...a couple of 1966 GMT's with small arrows that look original.
We must be close to the transition here...
My personal thumb rule would be to associate a small arrow GMT hand with a gilt dial.
More or less ;-)

I would not like a 1675 with a gilt dial (pre 1967) and a big GMT hand.
It makes pretty much sense to me that Rolex changed the style of the arrow hand when they changed the style of dial.
Just my 0.02 cts....and most of the time it is very hard to determine if a hand is original to a watch.
