Dear all,
I've been logged to this wonderful site for a long time but I never dared to post some messages, because my watches and aknowldege are so low in comparison to yours and my english not good enough to dare posting something.
I do not know if there is a specific part to introduce oneself, if yes, sorry, please locate my post in the right part of the forum.
I am Fabrice, Jaeger92 on various French forums and I live near Paris. I'm 30 and work as Marketing Resp. for a major 2-wheels manufacturer. I've been loving JLC since the beginning of my sickness (yes, loving watches is a sickness
.
I have the pleasure to own some watches, not a lot, but I think they are in line with me and my various needs : about non-Rolex : a Panera PAM183 (Radiomir Black Seal, sold quickly because I was fed up with its 45mm on my little whrist), a PAM48 (Luminor 40mm), an Omega Speedmaster (Saphir back to watch the 1863 running). I also have a JLC Reverso GT Sunmoon and a JLC Master Calendar.
About Rolex, I'm proud to wear a 2008 Seadweller and a 1978's 5513. I love this 5513, because it's a 1978 model (like me
))) ) and its patine is wonderful. It's running perfectly and I love the dome, so warm and so different from a modern seadweller. I attached some pictures of these Rolex, the JLC are reserved for JLC Purist corner
Sorry, I am also a poor photograph !
My next Rolex wille be a 116520 Dayto white dial and I'm wainting the 116710 GMT-C with pepsi bezel ! The daytona is due to arrive in march or april, in fucntion of what my AD receives. for the moment, only black dial are delivered to him.. I also loveJLC Ultrathin and Glasshutte but can we speak about non-rolex watches here
Thanks to the Purists, I "met" AlexSunrise and I hope to meet him and welcome him in Paris in a few months for a Swiss trip. So, thanks the Purists for this friendship!
Thanks so much for your passion and everything you learned me !!
Fabrice
it's always a pleasure when a lurker breaks the code of silence ;-)
Cheers
Jeff

Thanks for your kind words. It's true that the patina of my 5513 makes me mad and it took me time to get back to my SD.
An Explorer, why not, but not on the top of my wish list, which is already much too long, all the more that I want to buy a Porsche 911, my other dream in a few years, so I can afford me some pieces but not more and then, watches have to be patient
but I'm happy, not to have a 911 on this snowy winter in Paris
and welcome!
You will love it here. Everybody is extremely friendly and supportive of our "addiction".
Looking forward on reading your posts.
And once again, I am just crazy for your 5513!
See you soon,
Alejandro
Everybody's in this place ! that's great !
