Rolex Price Increase
Most of you probably already know this. I saw on robbreport.com m
this morning that Rolex is raising prices in the US and UK
approximately 2.5%.
Thanks Rolex, way to start off the new year.

Many last year were predicting a flood of Rolexes hitting the market
And finally being to buy Rolexes at retail prices through ADs. I have yet to see that materialize.
“Only” 2.5%…
I ordered, in Spain, a sky-dweller a week ago at 18750€. Now 19900€. That is a 6%. The worst of all is that probably I’ll not get the call this year…
I blame currency devaluation. As we know, costs keep going up to produce things.
Rolex has been a bit conservative in raising costs considering 'inflation'.

The price increase varies by country and model, with two tone seeing the largest increases…
Currency fluctuations had to be addressed which added more on top of the base increase throughout the line. My TT 36mm Everose DJ now looks like a tremendous buy back in 2017 🙂
The food and utilities went up 50%-60%, yet nobody’s complaining! 2.5% for something you don’t need it’s good problem to have!🤷🏻♂️
I bought my DSC a week ago for $26K yesterday I checked by accident and now it was $25950. So $50 cheaper! Should I ask for a refund?
I surprised it is as little as 2.5% all things considered. With inflation at 10% plus- that’s a effectively a discount from the Crown!
Valid point...
However, according to Watchanalytics, Rolex had 3 price increases in the last 365 days averaging a total of over 6% with some models going up more than 7%. I'll let you decide if that's still a discount from the Crown...😉
