Discussions have been ongoing with Tudor UK. There has been a lot of information required which I have received from WPS and passed on. Some specific concerns were raised around “flipping” and I have given re-assurances around this.
We may target “58” pieces.
There will be no changes to the bezel or hands, only modifications to the dial are doable. To this end I have had a discussion to see what is possible. I would rate the venture as no more than 50/50 at this stage.
So, we can go forward with the purple dial and Tudor rose?
Please remind me what changes were being discussed by purists and thank you for reaching out to Tudor.

Various asks to change the dial, hands and bezel — shapes, colors, printing, & style.
Also there were guys who really wanted a near copy of the original Tudor 7924 from 60 years ago.
I think most of us knew that it was all daydream stuff and we were shooting for the moon...

We look forward to the final decision & flipping cannot be deterred unless we engraved initials or name of the owners at the back ....
This is a good idea
However their will always be the case of flipping or sale as some member would be needing the funds or after some time need to sell to fund for their grail piece .. so far no successful plot exists of deterrence however at allocation level a caution can however control the situation some what..

Actually death was too strong so I negotiated it down to castrations [nt]

If its only a change in the dial, i have 2 suggestions. Either a 3 6 9 dial, or a dial with snowflake ( square ) hour markers. And drilled lugholes if it is not to much to ask.
But i dont want you to go begging !!! Tudor should be honored they are `chosen` by Purists !!!
The picture you are showing, is that basically it
with maybe a Rose and some of the old language on the dial? I like what I see in this photo and the one you posted in response to someone (Rotor...). Is the price near what a regular Black Bay costs? With all of that answered I would be in.

Thanks for the update. For me, after the no insert change - no hands change, I would feel glad with the gilt semi circula “smiley” text and small rose logo on the dial (classic looks).
