Brazil is a long way from me.

I play but not with a watch on
A friend of mine has TAG Tiger Woods which he play wearing. It's quartz though
Looking very good.
I just wonder about golfing with a Rolex.
I don't think there are an issues about shock or movement risk. However what I have heard is that the shock of hitting the ball can cause the lubricant inside the watch to potential have movement. Sound a little far fetched and I really don't know the validity of such a claim. Just thought I would throw out the idea to here any other thoughts. I guess the fix is simply to service you watch on the recommended intervals.

Actually mechanical selfwinding watches cannot stand up to golf,
the force and torque, if you release the club properly, literally strips and shears the rotor assembly and escapement.. Repairs are expensive. No other activity puts that much strain on the movement. Forget about those fat shots. Hopefully, you will not have a problem.
