as you may know Panerai is not my cup of tea, i seldom play attention on this brand. but happened to attend a launch of a new Luminor 8 days, PAM 599 DLC black case with in-housed movement at the Panerai boutique here. interestingly i find this watch is well made, and am impressed by the matching patina color of hands and hour markers. 44mm of case size which i personally still feel a bit large for my small size wrist. having said that, this watch has the most good looking Panerai i ever seen.
btw, as told, this model is limited edition that only 50 pieces made, but the 00/50 piece is the prototype of this watch which will be auction for charity, the Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association. i find this is a meaningful initiative, if interested, you can look up for the details from internet.
