If you want a watch where you can beat it around and not worry about it

I'd opt for an automatic so you don't have to worry about winding it.
But I'm a fan of manual winds because it lets me bond with the watch everyday in the morning when I usually wind my watch. It gives me pleasure winding it up!
of a watch, only personal preferences. Manually winding a watch is no big deal. Once you've gotten used to it, it makes no difference. Much like eating sushi, caviar or grasshoppers, you have to aquire the taste. Question: would you choose a blond Spanish girl or a dark haired Swedish one? Then why chose an...automatic Panerai??????????? Heaven knows, there are a truck load of famous, glamorous brands out there that...specialize...in automatic movements IMO
