I don't mind at all!!  I always feel like I'm showing off when I post these vintage creatures, when in fact I am not.  I sold a BUNCH of watches to acquire these babies

Left is a 6152/1, right a 3646 Type D....As for the font, you are correct.  In fact, all 3646's I have seen have this "thicker" font....Perhaps one of the vintage experts can chime in..

...that's a serious chunk of Panerai history you've got there...

Or do watches mostly only come out when the wives are away? Very nice pair, by the way, as good as it gets in the Panerai pantheon.
