Still trying to figur out if the 372 will be limited or not. Some say 3000 pce in total, others say 3000 pce now and the following years an extra batch of a few thousand pieces. Well,  I don't know the answer but I think it would be strange to make it regular production if these others mentioned in the title were LE.

Anyway, Which of these 7 is your favorite and which one gets the last place ?

Answer in your title if you want, this makes it easier for everybody

 

I confess, the fact that the 372 is the most recent has some influence.

But ont the other hand, it's so damn beautifull      

It is in ther current catalog, not in the LE section, and therefore, Panerai confirmed me that it was a millesimated production of 3000 pieces for this year.

Will they make 3000 pieces within this year?

How many will they make next year?

These are questions without answers for now.

As for your list, I would mention the Pam 21 and the 203 in the most important historic reproductions, as well as the MM 263 or 267 ( 203 MM, I mean ).

Now that the 372 has been announced and introduced, I would say 372 first, then the Cali ( but we have a 4th Cali, this year ), the Pam 300, the 127 ( but we have a black 127 this year ), then the 217 ( but we have another 217 this year ), the 232 ( but we have another 232 in YG this year ) and to end, the Egiziano...

Not that I don't like the others--I'm just VERY fond of the Radiomir, as well as the first Vendome Mare Nostrums--I hope that in the future Panerai releases a Mare Nostrum within the 42-46mm range.

I think it is more accurate/fair to group them both historically and format.  You can't really compare a pre vendome or a mare in such a group.

Above are my personal preference with the consideration of historical closeness to the original...

1. 372 : definitely looks really close compared to the original 6152.. I love the way they made the case looked like a modified radiomir case and I especially love the dial

2. 249 : one of the most unique looking panerai.. Still love the domed plexi, blue hands and california dial.. One thing I would like to change is the engraving on the case

3. 232/294 : one of the most handsome panerai.. and also a counterpart of the 249.. I think these two are meant to complete one another , as the 232 is more practical for everyday wear.. And as for the 294, definitely controversial but nevertheless it is just beautiful

4. 217 : combination of the Marina Militare Dial and being a left-handed watch (destro) makes it unique... This will always have a place in my heart

5. 300 : Mare Nostrum, a special watch of its own... Its almost an exact replica of the original... The cons is only that I'm not sure if I can wear such a big sized watch...

6. 127 : What I still don't understand is why they put "1950" on the dial.. I know that in metal, it doesn't disturb the overall look of the watch, but my mind can't stop thinking that the "1950" ruins the dial

7. 341 : A stunning watch and a stunning re-edition of the original Egiziano.. But again, I won't be able to wear such a big watch

Of course if 203 and 21 is considered, both will be on top of the list.. 21 being made in platinum still doesn't change my view on the watch... As it has a really beautiful dial and not forgetting the correct movement for the watch..

I'm still hoping that panerai make a steel version of the 373, maybe with a blue hands... That would also be one of the top 3 on my list...
