Trust all of you are having a great saturday or start to it!
The strap that I ordered for the L'Egiziano finally got completed today, and i got it fixed to the PAM 341 ASAP, so that I can start wearing it at long last!
With this strap, the watch fits VERY well to my wrist, it does not slide away from my hand nor around the wrist the way it does with the original strap that made this watch "unwearable". But now, the watch fits so perfectly as if it was crafted especially just for me! And those who have seen me with it today commented that it doesn't look big at all, in fact it looks just normal, even. Told you guys it was wearable!
Pardon the poor shots taken, I will try to take better ones under the sun tomorrow. ( provided it is sunny!)

My L'Egiziano, in all it's glory.
Just to show you all how blue this strap is, but in reality it looks more closer to those shots without the flash.
Made especially for me by my most beloved strap maker.
Notice the single pin-point hole? This strap fits only me, and it executes the job with sheer perfection.
That's the OEM buckle sewn into the strap.
It really is THAT dark and THAT grey!

... I must say this combination is quite elegant. Congratulations. When are you going to post a picture of the 'all blue' line-up (ie your collection on blue straps).
For me, I am also considering something blue, however not a Panerai. It is the Patek 5960P with blue dial and blue strap. Only blue thing I have now is the Patek 5980/1A and blue is certainly a very nice colour for watches. Very elegant and goes very well with blue suit and blue shirts which I wear often in the office.
But back to you: congrats on the Egi with the blue strap. I like it!

indeed, I have to admit. I have a bit more trouble with the idea of a wearable Egiziano...... I have no problems with the 47s but I took mine "for a spin" once and I still have to recover...hahahaha

In all honesty , all that saw me with it, and myself in the mirror too, says that it is NOT big at all!
I think it has got to do with the fit my friend. At SIHH all the guys naturally tried it with the OEM, which thus makes it unwearable.
But if you get the correct size, bravo!
