I am new to the Panerai forum, just would like to share with you my babies (Basic Marina date and the Daylight white dial). Since I got them, I have been crazy buying various kinds of leather straps for them, is it a common syndrome? I am contemplating of trading up to the new 3 days reserve in house movement, the most attractive points are the crystal back and 3 days reserve. But can anyone tell me if the thickness is the same?
Regards
Ivan

Yes, I agree with you very much. The whilte dial Dyalight actually is a pearl white (different from the Base Marina snow white), gives it a special flare and that makes me buy many different coloured and material straps for it. You name it, I have it, I don't have a chance to try them all out yet. White dial is not a traditional Panerai colour but it does go well with different colour straps. I will post up more pics of it with my straps.

Strap addiction for many is inherent when you own Panerai's. Hopefully you will be able to resist becoming one of those who have 50+ straps
The thickness of the P.900x watches will be relatively the same, if not, I believe it may be just a tad thicker. Either way, it will feel the same size on the wrist.

I am lucky that I only have around 15 straps, so well within the normal range. Some of the straps shown below plus a few more croc plus the original=around 15. The funny thing is you get the exitement when you receive the new straps and put it on the watch, look at it for a while, then you dump it in the box and never bother to put it on the watch again.

Usually when I find the "perfect" strap for my Panerai, that is the strap is gets all the wrist time and the other ones collect dust.
One good thing about putting on a new strap is it gives you the much cheaper experience of wearing a "new" watch because certain straps make your PAM feel totally different and "new". Helps tie you over and temporarily satiate your desire of wanting to buy something new!
