When I first embarked on my online research for my wife’s watch roughly 1.5 years ago, never in my wildest dreams did I imagine there would be this great community of watch enthusiasts all over the world contributing their knowledge and opinions on watches (and everything else). Along the way, I have enjoyed the spirited discussions on the various threads and emptied my wallet for a few new pieces to start my watch collection. I have learned so much about the “watch” world and I have everyone here to thank!
I am often amazed at the power of the Internet and how it ties seemingly unrelated people together. Thru various discussions online, PMs, and emails, I can truly call this gentleman a friend. If it were not for the Internet and the watch forums, I would not have (virtually) met this gracious gentleman. I found that we have common interests not only in watches, but also in cars, photography, travel, food, etc. I have come to enjoy our off line discussions as much as our thread postings.
He recently gifted this strap to me as he thought I could give it “more love.” Here it is, my new shoes for my PAM courtesy of a fellow Purist (who shall remain nameless at this time). I love the strap and all it represents! THANK YOU!
Well, recently my Purist friend experienced a life-changing event: he and his wife welcomed beautiful twins (boy and girl) into the world. I just wanted to say “congratulations” and hope he makes time out of his more hectic schedule to participate here….
Photos of my new shoes…
the stitching...not the other way around...
but I guess it would be kinnda cool for a night out if the stitching glowed...
thanks!
But i am looking to expend if some great pieces comes along!
I did used to have some radical straps though like these!

Tiger stripes on stringray leather!
Cheers
