It depends on what you are looking for. It is not a Historic Pam, if that is your first choice. These are more contemporary Radiomir's and are a touch smaller at 42mm versus larger the size of the more traditional 44mm or 45mm PAM's.
To me, I like these 42mm PAM's for what they are, the unique movements, the smaller size and the fact that they are Limited runs. I am not sure if they will gain in value like some of the other PAM's, but I pick watches based on what I like as opposed to how much they will be worth in time. I would have a tough time enjoying my watches if I worried about keeping them in mint condition for the sake of value, mine are well worn.
Check out the post a couple down about another PAM 98, maybe it will help.
Good like choosing,
Mark V
Yes it is no longer in production, but it's not "rare" IMO.
It's held it's value as good as other Panerai's, so you shouldn't take a beating if you decide to resell in the future.
Cheers,
Anthony
is not rare and the chance of appreciating in value, given the lack of historical significance, would not be high. But then again, how important is that to you? Do you like the watch itself? If so that's all that matters!
Or else this passion of yours, which i hope is truly a passion for you won't be fun at all.
Decide on the timepiece if you REALLY REALLY love it!
Do let us know about your catch!
Ciao
