Trust that each and every one of you had a great day today
Most of you would know i'm VERY VERY ANAL ABOUT QUALITY FINISH, AND IF I LOOK THROUGH A 10X LOUPE(WHICH IS THE ONLY LOUPE MAGNIFICATION I TRUST)AND SAY THAT THE ANGLAGE IS THAT GOOD, YOU'd BETTER TRUST IT!
grey markets, i wouldnt talk about them here now
Haha not that i turned into superman or what, but really putting on the 309 gave me huge confidence, and i love LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PIECE!!! Frankly speaking, even when i picked up other watches that cost 10 times more than the 309, i wasnt this happy nor elated! But for the 309, its beyond description!
I will say this is the most enthusiastic review I have ever read in my 8+ years on the forums. I commend you on acquiring what has to be your grail. If anything else could make you happier I think you would pop!
I have held the 309 myself. It is a beautiful watch. I prefer the 322, and credit Panerai for not doing a 50/50 split in the run. But in either dial it is a special piece. I would say enjoy it but I don't want to push you off the ledge
but man, you say in your review you've bought watches costing 10x as much and you don't have a camera??
Give me your address and I'll give you one!! Canon S70 do the trick??
Clif
Let me guess...you like the watch?
You really need to get a camera and snap some shots of the watch :P With your description of the anglage finishing, I'm dying to see a PAM309 or PAM322 in person again. Wasn't able to closely examine the movement in the dim lit room at SIHH.
Thanks for the report!
Cheers,
Anthony
I will try to get one soon, but then cos i hate taking pictures, dont expect them to be as good as those that you guys post here on the forum!
Yea please if you ever get the chance to see it again, try to examine it as much as you can! With a 10x loupe for best effect!
Grazie for the comments!
Stephen
I enjoyed reading it.
On the flip side, if only the number `9` is shown,,, it would definitely make me jump on it, IMHO.
But I must admit, I love those Minerva movements.
I am yet to see it in the metal,, but probably may not have the chance due to its very limited production numbers.
Cheers,
Ken
