finally..my 2nd strap has arrived...
It's been a long time waiting...about a month actually. Have always wanted a vintage strap on my panerai so here it is... gonna put the python aside for now..
I've gotten a little trigger happy with my camera for this strap change...so please excuse the excessive pictures..

:: i ordered a calf strap but with the panerai it's become a bull with stainless steel horns..

Congrats on your new strap! Looks like a 26mm wide strap? I always prefer my 45mm rads on a 27mm strap cause that's the same width as the OEM's and that 1 extra mm hides the wire lugs better for an even cleaner look IMO.

You can't go wrong with vintage shoes on a Black Seal. I second Anthony's comment about going for the full 27mm for your next strap.

thanks for confirming that i picked the right strap...
I do like this vintage strap and can see that many prefer this over the python. actually the python looks better than the picture i have taken, very comfortable to wear too. I wore the python for a week and have received positive feedbacks (except the ladies who went eee....ahhh....."how cruel!!" when they are the ones who a crocodile or snake skin handbag/purse in their hands.....) as it gave the watch a more formal feel.
It is a on a 26/26, lesson learnt on the 27mm will do that for the next strap. infact i just contacted the maker for my croc strap and was wondering if i was in time to change it...keeping fingers crossed.
As for the silver tool....must be for some hard to rid cavities.....i hear my dentist isn't too popular with kids...

the forum taught me well....
i actually posted on the forum few weeks back about how i should change my rad and you were one of those that replied...so if it wasn't for those great tips i would probably have unscrewed the whole thing and may even have lost 1....so credit to fellow forum members who replied!~
next one coming is a brown horn back croc similar to the one on the AP ROO Safari....just waiting now....should arrive end of this week or early next....
