My experience with the boutique here in Marina Bay Sands is much better. The staff are knowledgeable and definitely handle stuff with more care.
A full service for my PAM268 recently cost about US$650.
Iām hoping that OP HQ will share the same customer focus (financially-speaking) as the US service center.
Since they arenāt producing black ceramic radiomirs anymore, it may not be a case of grabbing an extra bezel off of the shelf. But letās see. Iām gonna ask for fresh caseback and lugs too.
As for the boutique shuttering: I live in a Rolex/RM/AP city, and the few times I stopped by panerai, the staff seemed shocked that they had a visitor. All they stocked (for the better part of a year) were Dueās and submersibles, which (to me) arenāt the core lines

the case did not crack. I am very familiar with changing straps on the pin cushion Radiomir, and indeed to Patrickās point you often get either scratched case or screw heads.
I have seen a handful of collectors pair the OEM rubber with pin cushion Radiomirā¦ and I would have never guessed it would fit mechanically due to the metal tube inside of the strap, since the natural curvature of the lug pins are curved.
I just noticed that your rubber strap does not have a tube. Ok itās funny I never thought to remove that tube.

It was a very helpful PAM boutique manager, manning the panerai website chat feed, who confirmed that the luminor rubber strap would fit.
And I enjoyed many a lovely water-soaked vacation that way. But the pin cushion stuff is just not a classy way do do strap changes; scratches galore and the potential of lug failure is high.
Iām not holding out any hope that the fact that the case went unscathed will save my any $$$

Looking at your pics, I think I know what happened.
The wire lugs have a little notch to secure it in place when you screw in those tiny screws.. from your pics, it seems they were installed in the opposite direction and so the screws werenāt catching the notch eg even the wire lugs look rather chewed up.
The pic below will show you what I mean.. I have changed the straps on my radiomirs many times, itās quite daunting at first but after some practice it gets easier. Hope Panerai can offer you a reasonable solution since this is clearly an error on their part
I believe this is exactly what happened. Iāve been changing straps on rads for nearly 20 years without issue. Iād try to run this up the ladder at Panerai to see if you can get a good-will repair at no cost. I do believe it was the fault of the AD/boutique.
Almost-6 weeks, and 1370 CHF, later, itās back on the wrist (with a 2 year service warranty)

I'm actually not ticked-off at all. Just happy to have it on the wrist.
The movement check showed that it was in need of a major service (worn barrels) and the previous bezel (which ended up getting cracked during the incident with my son) had a scratch which the reseller had photoshopped prior to selling it to me. So, now, there is no scratch (as the bezel has been replaced). Most importantly, the 2 year service warranty will allow me to wear it without any worries. I've paid more for straps (shocking, I know).

Youāre right. Given how my first luxury watch costed me a whopping 700 USD, the fact that
this 1370 CHF bezel+service bill did NOT shock me shows you how 20 years of collecting can skew your sense of āapproriateā cost
