I finally took the leap. I got this a few days ago and now I wonder why I didn't do so earlier! It's refreshing to be Made in Germany for once. Ha!

. . . on being one of the first to acquire this handsome specimen. While the lion's share of attention went to the new PanoInverse, this model was one of the runner-ups in our poll taken just after Basel, with 8% of the tally in favor.

All in all, this is my favorite iteration of the XL line . . . taut, elegant, and austere, all qualities that Glashütte Original inimitably exudes.

Congrats, great choice, enjoy the watch

Today is the third day of ownership. I have to be honest; I can't find a more beautiful distraction during my meetings. I am sure that the people that I have been meeting today thought I was the rudest person in the world, because of the constant time checking.

I feel this watch is quite understated, as I don't notice my colleagues noticing it and they tend to spot these things quickly. Or perhaps it's a Monday and they didn't have enough coffee in the morning.
