Samsung had a cool booth at CES when I went.  I'm going there in 2014 so I'll report on all the new mobile stuff on this forum.

Thanks!  Went out tonight and got quite a bit of attention with the gold 5S, everyone wanted to see it and I got some crazy offers for it.  I think the grey is cooler but I'm looking for a case tomorrow so it'll be covered up.  Did you get a 32 or 64?

You have a nice friend!  I read on the news how people are asking ridiculous prices for the gold iPhone 5S because of how rare they are.  Enjoy your new toy.

The shade of gold is a Champagne color and it actually came out nice.  My brother got a Grey one and IMO I like it better.  They make clear hard cases that snap on as well as the usually thin clear skins if you want to keep the naked look.  Bad thing is it's rare I get a lot of attention with it as many have not seen one.  A few people have even offered me quite a bit for it so it's kinda weird to have people going crazy for the color.   I've tried sticking it out with the iPhone 5S but I have decided to go back to my Galaxy S4.  The small screen on the 5S plus the limitations with iOS 7 makes it a deal breaker for me.  Are you upgrading your phone soon or did you get a 5S?

I gave it a try but not really happy with the iPhones.  The main thing is the screen size on the 5S its just too small.  As this is gift from a very good and long time friend I won't sell it probably pass it back to him or give it to a family member.  I'm loving my Galaxy S4 but tempted with the Note 3!  Have you had issues with iMessage? The App store has been wacky for me on the 5S and iPad3.

The customization/flexibility on Android is what I like.  Maybe when the jailbreak comes out for the 5S I might enjoy it more.
