Hello, hope all of you are having a joyous Holiday season! It has been a festive week at my work, times where most of us gained a few more pounds . We typically get baskets of Mrs. Beasley cupcakes/brownies/cookies that I've committed to not having any this year (it takes a year to get rid of the pounds you gained in a day ).  However, this afternoon, I had this hand delivered to my office.  After having a polite small bites and calling the rest of the staffs to share this cake, right now I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of the people in my office so I can have the rest of the cake to myself, LOL.

ZINGERMAN'S Gingerbread Coffee Cake....

Oh NO!!!!, the ONLY remaining crumbs my colleagues left me, since I was too busy posting ... :-(

The Gingerbread Coffee Cake is really delicious, extremely moist. It has a nice candied ginger crunch in it. The best part is the warm taste lingering in your mouth after you've savored the last bites.

Yummy DRMW! That goes well with their iced chocolate drink with extra whipped cream. This past weekend, I found out that they close the chain at the mall near my house. Bad news: I can't get their cinnabon easily anymore. Good news: helps my diet, LOL!

I don't recall the name, but if I get it this weekend, I'll try to post a picture... it's not as good as Serendipity froooozzzzzeennn hot chocolate though!

I vote for Ping's RED VELVET CUPCAKES and I have never even tasted them. They look really special.

The delicious red velvet cupcakes came instantly to mind.

Some other favorites include Danish pastries from Solvang, California.

There's also a sort of German raisin fruitcake I'm fond of from time to time...

Cupcakes are all the rage here in L.A.  The most famous one is 'Sprinkles' but IMO the FPK Red Velvet is much much better!

Hope you've a great Holiday season Roger.  By the way, I just tried the new eclair addition from Krispy Kreme a few days ago and they are delicious!! However, for my breakfast, I still opt for my favority chocolate iced custard .

Thanks for sharing.  That Zingerman's looks really good.  I've never tried it before but it looks tasty! 
Our office usually gets the Mrs. Beasleys baskets and boxes of See's candies every year.

And +1 on the FPK red velvet cupcakes.  I was able to snag one during the PPro Yearend GTG.

Hi ED-209,

I was told that the gingerbread coffee cake is only available 4 months out of a year; special for Holiday season. I'll try to bring it for future GTG if it's available ... until then, do indulge in Mrs. Beasley mini chocolate cupcakes (my other favorite!).

Have you ever had those?  Zingerman's is always tasty.  I used to get mail order from there when I was on the East Coast.

I love all sorts of cakes, but one of my favorites to make is Coca-Cola cake.  It's a type of bundt cake.
