Vaporwear's Lamborghini Heels
Vaporware. It's what technophiles call the promise of invention that never seems to materialize. What you see here, however, redefines the term. We'll call them vaporwear, as this exotic pair of pumps exist only as a concept. They were designed on computer by Tim Coopers as a conceptual product for Tonino Lamborghini, the product design company run by the famous sportscar-maker's son. The design is inspired by the Lamborghini Gallardo Supeleggera, and incorporates carbon fiber heels. The image you see here is as close as anyone will get to seeing these shoes walking the streets, so click to view it in high resolution.

The heels are a tad too high for me but the design is really nice, and carbon fibre heels!Awesome! As far as I know, no fashion brands come out with this idea..Cool... If only they make the heels half the height and the design "peep-toe" (",)
Thanks for the post. Interesting and unexpected. If only Ferrari or Porsche make such shoes, too!
Cheers,
Linda
My ever-fave-comfy shoes are from GEOX !! First saw them in Italy years back. Wondering why every town and corners have this shoes brand boutique.. So bought few pairs and to my delight, even on the first-time wear, never feel painful at all ! Usually you need to run them in few wears and get some discomfort or blisters in the process,-but for me, Geox works best beit shoes, slip-in, sandals, and even boots! (",). Got some from Italy but usually add up wheever I am in HK. Singapore has few boutiques but the collection is not complete and vary.
Of course for nite wear I may get other brands such as Bottega Venetta, Chanel, Loubutin, Zanotti or Hermes but on daily basis, Geox, Hogan and LV sandals work best. Last almost forever!
What are your fave shoes?
Cheers,
Linda
And also comfortable. Have it in beige colour instead of red. They also have Ferrari model n leather loafer..the driving shoes with their trademark rubber dots (is that how it is called?unsure..). I have one pair in cream coour leather with the small Scuderia (in steel, I think) on each side, near the heel. Subtle. Very comfortable to walk.

And i would have bought them even though i can't wear them!
Now if only they made a pair of men's dress shoes, inspired by the Murcielago, and actually produce it!
Heck i'll buy 7 pairs!
Stephen
And of course the shoes should be executed in a Midnight Blue patent leather!
Then i will SURELY BUY 7!

Have you seen Lambo "red packet" envelope? Chinese usually gives red packet with some money inside for family or friends during Chinese New Year period and they made real nice one this year (",)heehee..
It comes with small cute paper bag in matching design with the red packet, just nice to be filled with 2 oranges, which people bring along when they go visiting during Chinese New Year period and present it to those they visit. If I am not wrong, this tradition is practised only in Singapore (or maybe Malaysia, too? Not sure..

I always drive with driving shoes, and I always drive with driving gloves so I thought I was familiar with the Sparco line, but I never knew they made a shoe for Lamborghini.
I think OMP supplies Ferrari's F1 with shoes (NOT Tod's which is the common misconception).
I haven't tried a single pair of Piloti shoes that were very good to drive in, the sole is too stiff to give good pedal feel. The Piloti driving shoes are more difficult to drive in than my Ferragamo drivers (which aren't super good either). My favorite driving shoe is still the Puma SpeedCat; inexpensive, light in weight, somewhat breathable, and phenomenal pedal feedback.

I'm a Ferraristi, and I'm a Ferrari fan. So I don't mind the Ferrari logo. The problem is, I won't wear anything with a Ferrari logo until I own a Ferrari.
The Sparcos should be FIA homologated and to the more recent standard. The Puma Speedcat is not FIA approved.
