I went for over six years without making a single cent, living off of the inheritance I was fortunate to have, as a consequence of the Great Recession. And I'm a pure-bred business person academically. That period of time definitively cemented who I was and what I stood for (reading many thousand pages of philosophy certainly helped). Ethics and moral constructivism in general mean more to me than anything money can obtain. 🙏🙂‍↕️

Excellent comment. I certainly agree. I call it the “moat”: enough money to be free from having to make money. As for reference, I abide by the Categorical Imperative. 🙏🏻

Kant is the love of my philosophical life. I made a promise to myself to visit his gravesite in Kaliningrad at some point down the line. I will have plenty of philosophy citations coming up here every single week, and none will be better represented than those of his deontological Highness Immanuel Kant 😇🤌....

Truth be told, being Arm Candy is work, tho the benefits are quite interesting... and satisfying.

And we often forget that we can live with very little money, if we prioritize what "is really important" over mundane things...

but it can buy a Porsche…and a Porsche will make me happy…so…uh…wait a minute……...

I hope to achieve this in the future

And whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
