Expensive at 10,000 Euros, but what a lamp! There were only three or four of these ever made.
Again, expensive at 10,000 Euros. About 22 or so made.
Everything is handmade from solid metal.
This artist was discovered by Max Busser of MB&F fame.
The pieces you just saw are turned into this machine. They're BURNISHED (not anodized) black, by hand! That burnishing liquid, which behaves like a huge alkaline solvent (kind of like an acid, but instead of corrosive, more of a solvent) is applied by hand. The liquid eats through rubber gloves. The artist probably doesn't have any fingerprints left!
Perhaps your tastes are more mechanical... These Miki Eleta machines are true works of art.
Handmade to the last detail. Miki Eleta doesn't use any big computers nor CNC machines. He sketches out his designs, and does the mathematical calculations by hand using a calculator, paper, and pencil.
He makes everything by hand using saws, files, drills. No computerized CNC machines.
Some of his works are in Royal Palaces.

She is more of Laura Ashley style so the lamps are going to be be an impossible task. The Miki Eleta watches... my goodness, I should
have been a white glove thief. I will have to delve on this amazing wonders. Thanks for sharing.

SVEMIR below. SVEMIR means "Universe"
In 2022, Miki Eleta entered "Passage of Time" into the GPHG competition. I think it is his most beautiful creation to date. It was one of the six finalists for the GPHG category of Mechanical Clocks. Unfortunately, in the 2022 year, the Van Cleef & Arpels Automaton (created by several artisans and costing around 8 million Euros) won the category. The Van Cleef & Arpels clock was definitely impressive. But it was kind of like bringing a cannon into a pistols duel.
I saw the clocks at Dubai Watch Week in 2021 and I was FLOORED! My mouth was hanging half open.
For the GPHG in 2021, he entered SVEMIR in the "Mechanical Exceptions" class. It didn't win unfortunately. But it did prompt the judge and jury to petition the GPHG administration to open a new class. The new "Mechanical Clocks" class. Thus, Miki Eleta is truly responsible for creating a whole new category for the GPHG!

I think I could not stop looking at the Svemir. a gem of a museum. Losing against VC Arpels is in a way an honor.
Svemir was just sold unfortunately.
For around the price of the average optioned Ferrari 296. The artist flew the clock by airplane to destination. The clock even had its own seat on the plane! As they're too fragile to be entrusted to the people in the cargo hold.
