Hi folks,
 
My question is on the dial, is this a repaint?
The lack of "Swiss" on the dial leads me to suspect it is not original.
It does however look to be an older restoration, this is basically how I received the watch except I did have a full service performed a year ago.
All opinions are welcome and encouraged.

For what it's worth, my sense is that the dial is original, and in very good condition overall.

but I did see a very similar dial on a vintage Universal Geneve recently, that looked almost like that one, and it is definitely original.

That really is a beauty! Very interesting looking lug design as well. Would be great to see a photo of the side as well!

The dial looks fine to me eitherway.....  IT might be marked swiss right under the lip of the crystal ( could be obscuring it).   The case is approx 33 mm by 33mm and takes a 20 mm strap if I remember correctly .  This watch has a large wrist presence.  The movemet should be something like a 342 bumper.

Omega also used this case ( they would cross out the 3903 ref and ad another one I forget it right this second).  For the SQ triple date mooonphase !! caliber 381

I had one in 14k yellow gold  and a steel one I sold them both years ago... miss them...
