I've had a Kontiki diver, allegedly Israeli special forces, a couple of Eterna-Sonics and a 1938 Czech pilots watch. All long gone but not forgotten.
You never know, i may add another to my collection in the future, if i can find a nice Kontiki diver from 1964.

Hi,
I thought the top line watches of Eterna have been the chronometers!??

hello Erich.
i base this opinion, and it is most certainly just that, on my observations from collecting eterna for many years now. the company just didn't produce that many labeled chronometers. i can't help but think that it wasn't seriously thought of as a flagship of the sort that i think of when i ponder the word. there are marketing materials out there from eterna that claim they were "in the big three" of chronometer certifications during the golden age of teh 50s and 60s. one would have to assume this claim to also include their ebauche wing ETA.
if i were to compare eterna to omega, and i think the comparisons apt, i would say the models line up well, if not in far fewer numbers. for every 10 seamasters, you may have 1 kon tiki. i think the centenaire lines up well with the constellation. but again, one can find a nice constellation fairly quickly. it takes a little searching for a clean centenaire.
but again, these are all opinions. i welcome yours, if different!
in the meantime, have a chronometer!
Here are my couple - sorry for the quick pics...

Do you know from which time era the two buckles are from?

an original centenaire. i'm envious!
as for your buckle question, i can only guess really. i believe the one on the left to be from the 70s, as i owned this briefly and it had that buckle:
the other just looks older to my eye, though i really have nothing to substantiate this.
That is a funky piece!
Wonder what the 2002 refer to..?
Thank you for your input.
Yes, my guess is the same - if you compare with JLC, IWC, Zenith - all had similar buckles as the one to the right left during the 60-70's.
The other one to the right is more similar to JLC from the 60's.
