Omega Chronometer 30T2RG
Last year I visited a vintage watches shop in Paris. I wore a chronograph Minerva. Inside the shop, there was an Omega watch. The similarity between the two dials caught my eye.
The watch was in remarkable condition. Never polished, dial bearing the marks of his age (1944) .
It should be revised but I wanted to preserve its integrity. I sent it to Brienne. On this movement, it is very easy to replace specific parts by standard parts from a 30T movement. I was certain that Omega's watchmaker would take a great care of this rare watch.
These pictures were taken before the revision.
It's running now inside chronometric specifications. And I'm a happy Omega fan !
35mm Case.

You have a very nice watch there. Looks like it's a 35 mm version with oversize sub second chapter.
Not too long ago, we talked about that in this thread.

There's not much more to be said about the 30T2rg that hasn't already been written previously. What I can relay are the words (more or less verbatim) spoken by Bill Sohne when I told him of the acquisition, some four years ago. "Art," he said, "you don't need a Patek anymore - Omega chronometers are just as fine."
I've added a steel ref 2365 to the collection recently . . .

How many seconds does your Chronometer is loosing per day if you could answer that that would be fantastic

The ref 2364 was adjusted to within . . .
. . . a second per day on a timing machine after the balance staff was replaced (it was way off prior to the fix). I haven't gotten a handle on the ref 2365 yet - that's a project for later this year!
