Query re original crystal for ref 166.071 Memomatic

This is a question for the hard core Omega collectors.    

This is the version in the Flightmaster case.    I have seen several examples  recently offered for sale purporting to be all original, one with cyclops and one without.    Any thoughts?    This is not make or break in a purchase decision, but I ordinarily don't choose a cyclops unless it is as originally intended.

While you are here, what about the crystal for the 166.072 Memomatic - the more usual blocky case?  Cyclops or no?

All Memomatic pieces that I ever saw carries a standard crystal without a cyclops.

In fact there are quite few Omegas with a cyclops crystal. If my mind is working today, I remember one Geneve and another, more moderns, Omegamatic.

I have the cushion case version, no cyclops and I don't recall ever seeing one with one...

IMO there were very few...

I think a plain crystal is the original...  IMO there were very few models with cyclops (if any).

if you sent it for service to your local man he would be able to get a correct crystal easily enough.

After seeing the magnificent  Memomatic posted by zitrual below, I decided to hold out either for something mint or a real bargain.    I have been successful in hunting and trapping lately, and don't need to purchase anything not quite right.

I do have an original cyclops crystal on my 1959 Seamaster calendar, date at 3, but that is the only Omega example of which I have personal knowledge.

I can point you to is Steve Waddingtons work on the pilot line cases and all the examples there show no cyclops present.  A corect replacement shouldn't be to hard to find if you do end up buying it anyway.
