Pictures of my latest purchase, forgive my poor photography skills.
Paying homage to the irrepressible moonwatch, incorporating a co-axial automatic movement (with an understandably bad stigma attached), satiating my lust for a larger than 42mm watch, boasting a lovely screw link bracelet, tasty sapphire sandwich and most UNimportantly yet obviously...a date.
Not a pro but a co-axial chronometer, just the way i like it.

that would be one i would love to own.
yours is very nice indeed. a lot of people prefer the auto speedies to the handwind as its more convenient and adding a date in a very subtle place works well. is this a new model or a used one as i'm not familiar with it. i'm very out of date when it comes to new models. do they still make the broad arrow or has this replaced it?
very nice

It was a choice between the limited edition handwind pro (the enamel dial was gorgeous and i loved the number) and the Speedmaster CC. Eventually i just could not justify paying practically twice the amount for the LE. It has a stunning movement, admired it for the longest time at the AD.
Both watches were revealed in 2008 and the Speedmaster CC has only been hitting the stores in the past few months. They definitely still make the broad arrow. Interestingly, Omega seemed to have made a watch for people who loved the size, feel and utility of the Broadarrow combined with the aesthetics and beauty of the moonwatch. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

Yes it is the replica but I have been wearing it for a a few months now , and i love her , She is slowly converting into my favorite . Especially the fact that I have to wind her up now and then gives a sort of zen consiousness touch to it .
