Admiring Graham's SM 300 with its thin bezel gave me the idea to take mine off the safe, and to spend some days with it.

So, during a very short break, I too it with me ( among a few other watches )...

You're pictures are making me miss my SM300 even more!!

Mine should be back from a quick trip to the emergency room. It has to be sent off after a brush with some H20.

I'm happy to report that there was no damage caused by the water intrusion. I'll post pics upon her return this week.

p.s. The brown strap against the black dial is one of my favorite looks. Outstanding!

Really like that distressed leather strap on yours.

Mine hasn't been out in a couple weeks, so joining you today!

But I need to make a pause on this matter, because I just bought 16 straps for the JLC and the Blancpain FFs ...

If the distance between thze lugs is 20 mm, I already have the solution, but I think it is more about 21 mm...

To be checked, then ..followed.

Which is the fun of having a lot of options!

I got mine with the standard-issue the Omega bracelet. Had the opportunity to get the mesh, but liked the originality of that bracelet.
Turtle is in my back yard, next to the pond.
My passion is more for leather straps on the right watch, and your distressed leather is what I love seeing on certain vintages, especially the pilots.

I always enjoy seeing bits of your collection.

You've more than inspired me to look for a an older Fifty Fathoms as one of my next watches

Curiously, I'd say between 20 and 21 mm...

What do you think?

sorry for the pic quality, but it was a quickie taken before the service was done and before i got the bracelet.

i'm getting a new camera for my birthday in a few weeks so hopefully the pics will be much better and yes, Nico, i have followed your lead. not a Leica, but a Panasonic Lumix LX3 which is identical to the Leica D Lux 4. apparently the best compact you can buy before you need to progress too a big bulky DSLR.

BTW, the first model is 19mm lugs and the second model is 20mm lugs same as the speedmasters of same design.
