Hi everyone,
I'm curious about the current Omega co-axial movement..
Can anyone tell me what's the difference between the current ones when compared to the old ones and Roger Smith's Series 2 ?

provided separately from the connection between the intermediate wheel and the escape wheel.  In the 2500 mvt., a 2-layer design, these 2 functions are combined in one wheel; the coaxial pinion.  In the 8500 and the RS mvts., the separation of these functions provides a lower-friction delivery of power for better isochronism and smaller variations in amplitude with changes in position and mainspring tension.
