Omega Seamaster Titanium 1940s

I heard of a very special Omega Seamaster Titanium made in the 1940s, the case is made from a single piece of titanium with no screws. Do any of the experts here know about this watch or have pictures?
I love watches with Titanium cases and my understanding was that Citizen were the first ones to make a titanium watch but then I heard of this rare grail from Omega.

Interesting. I would have never guessed that the first titanium watch would have been issued in the 40's! I would have said 60's, or 70's.

I thought so too. I think 60-70’s would be the correct era for a dive watch from Omega. Before that they looked like dress watches.
And even more in titanium. Now let's not forget that the first diving watch from Omega is the CK 2913, from 1957.
I found some more information in an article
A former Purist/well known collector bought one recently and said this about it
" an elusive , made in the 1940s. “This watch has no screws on the outside at all. It’s a single piece made out of a metal that comes from the Cold War era, not your modern-day titanium. This was during the time Kennedy was around and the Russians weren’t our friends. That’s a significant piece of history right there,”
The contradiction here is that the watch was made in the 40s yet he refers to to the 60s era of the cold war and Kennedy.

I doubt there was a titanium-cased Seamaster in the late '40s, Salman. You may be conflating a unicorn with . . .
. . . the tungsten-clad Seamasters of the late '60s. Those models, commonly referred to as the Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader, were produced in small quantities. I've seen AS types in the metal, and would acquire a DV under the right circumstances.

The DV is the scarcer of the two. I've handled AS versions in the past, but they felt too prominent on my slender wrist. I don't recall seeing a DV in the metal; if I have, it was a very long time ago.

If my memory serves me well, I think Omega released an Alaska Project in titanium too, in the very early 70, or 1969.

. . . I'd forgotten about. I recall running across that one somewhere online in the distant past, most likely on that very dedicated website.
If that's the one Salman's identified, then yes, it's possible a prototype escaped and has been captured 'in the wild'. To say I'd be interested in seeing an actual current photo would be an understatement.

I’ve been trying hard to find information about all the models in the Seamaster range since the inception.

This is a great post. It triggered interest in Omega’s deep history.
Last night I watched some videos on Omega SM’s history oj youtube (by Monochrome) but lots of history were left out, for example, they went from the Proplof straight to the Pierce Brosnan era models, skipping the Seamaster 200 range (those with the nautilus like bracelets shown below). I believe there are much more obscure models lost in time.
