This version of the Seamaster 300m has aesthetically refined an excellent tool watch.
Take a look at the red used on the seconds hand it’s just the right shade. The bezel has an “industrial” finish that looks and feels purposeful.

It is uncannily similar yes. I pulled back from the tantalum-titanium-gold version twice because the bezel construction seemed fishy. I still like it, but from afar. This is nice, I would buy it instantly if the case were also titanium, but they opted for steel for the case.

One shud never bother to look at Cost of goods for luxury goods. Luxury is very sentiment driven. Plus the behavioral science behind it - The more you get rejected the more you want her doesn't matter how ugly or unappealing. [nt]

Is that a PT bezel? Red on black gets it overlapping into dressy sporty category IMO.
300M chrono too had a red/black edition back in 2013.
