OK… I can remain silent no longer. Your celebration (marvelous, btw) of Yokozuna compels me to offer this portrait of our dear departed Cinders, here lovingly guarding my humble
SARB017 (might as well have been a platinum PP to her). She's only been gone ~ 7 months, and we miss her gentle soul terribly.
Rescued by friends as a kitten from a ditch in the dead of winter, she came to live with us that next spring when she was six months old. Already a queen who would drink only from a raised goblet, we knew our places immediately. She loved children—all eight lbs. of her.
And her favorite holiday was Halloween—for she'd sit patiently by the door, delighted at each child who would turn up looking like one out-of-this-world creature after another.
A much loved soul. RIP dear Cinders! (And yes, your watches are quite nice. But unless you've just the right reference, they don't purr!)

I can sympathize as I have loss my share of furry companions. A small part of me dies each and every time but we continue on to keep them with us.
