Hi there,
GOOD BUY!precise decision!I loe the part when you mentioned--the watch talk to me!That's call feeling or passion!
....To continue your question, its a high durability watch with very tough and earn high marks caliber 0330 by GP but that does not mean you go diving or sky jumping on it.On the out look side, you are very right!both black and white are simply irresistable, and acceptable to own both. The beauty of this watch is matches with nearly all the attire you have regardless of jeans, suits or etc.On the alue side,i would simply say the best, not even pp nautilus if put side by side just simply shy away interms of practicality, functionily and even stylish.
Lastly,GP's dealership network are quite well establish,i face no problem at all with my local AD whom gives execellent after sales service.
Again!Congratulation!wear it in good health & do post some pictures to share.

G'day,
to me you did well; it´s a finely made watch with an unique combination of complications, of which all and the movement are propietory developments and creations of Girard-Perregaux. This alone qualifies it as a very special piece and it´s not easy to find a comparable watch (not to speak of finding a comparable manufacture-made watch for that money).
In fact there aren´t many Evo Moon´s around; GP isn´t comfortable in sharing exact figures, but all signs indicate the annual production to be less than 500. I´d be surprised if there are 500 units out there and in all regions particularly the black dial version is very sought after, with demand being higher than supply and collectors awaiting deliveries.
It´s a great watch and well equipped to withstand daily wear. One should keep in mind NO mechanical timepiece to be as tough as a G-Shock by nature, due to the fact it needs extremely small parts to make it work. Because of this, high impact forces can cause damages, but that´s inevitable for all mechanical watches to some degree.
Other than that, it´s made to be worn and i´m sure it will serve you well. GP maintains a world-wide service network with a service department in the US as well, therefore no worries for the future!
Congratulations again, on your fine Evo Moon!
Cheers,
Peter
