Question on the calibre

Hi Joffre,

Could you share some links or more info on the calibre being used for the GP 8050 and the CFB?

I have read that it was a calibre created by THA that the Tortue Mono Poussoir also used.

I’m also curious about why the GP has a solid caseback whereas the CFB and the cartier have display casebacks.

Pity the back is closed. This is one of those rare cases when the movement is good both technically and esthetically however hidden. BTW, on pics this watch looks smaller than it really wears. Here is the wristshot.
