I really like them both and his point was how both are so iconic to each brand … he got both ☺️
I personally got the AP 15300 instead but for me, the RO and the laureato 8010 are such important pieces for purist that love sports integrated models.
Sometimes I get asked why I am such a proponent of the laureato. And the answer is simple. It’s because so much has already been said of the RO and Nautilus and 222. So I feel like not enough has been said about the laureato … especially the 8010 which have such low production numbers (way lower than the RO, Nautilus or the Overseas). It’s not that I don’t like these other three as well ….’I really like them as well.
When it comes to size,

I often hear the usual “36 mm might be too small for me” etc. the reality is this, the dial size, the lug width is the SAME as the current production laureato 38 mm. The bezel is thinner with the 8010 and hence the 36Vs the 38 mm. The thickness of the 8010 is 8 mm. So about 2 mm less than the 38 mm. Pic of my 8010 on my 18 cm wrist.
So the 4th horseman to me is the stealthy one … the dark horse ☺️ and a classic. The Laureato 8010. 🫡
