One watch we not often discuss here is the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Dual Time.
Hour, minute, second, Dual Time and date, but no date window.
Here the dial is the director's "un-cut" version!
The Dual Time is operated by the two pushers on the crown side.
Notice the pusher at eight? That's the one to operate the date quick set.

I had a lot of reservations on this one, but I think the black dial at least is growing on me and I like the implementation with the "chronograph" pushers.

I like the dark dial with the different tones. Also the date sub dial - think these always add something.
Just a quick question is the dual time a 24 hour dial? How does the dual time hand move - in hour increments?

Yes, the Dual Time is the 24h scale with the red hand.

Not having seen the light dial version I cannot comment on that one but the dark one looks nice. Vaguely resembles the Super Compressor Lemania with central seconds you just posted about (if one squints, a lot)

I like how this looks. Very elegant!
The red dual time hand gives it some color, which is really cool. As for the date, I have my reservations on these pointer sub dial types as I have been finding them very difficult to read, so while it is a cool novelty, I'm not sure as to the practicality of it. Still, it gives a nice depth to the dial.

Personally I prefer date windows over pointer date.
Maybe my eye sight is too poor for the pointer....
But with the few pointer date watches I have, I almost never check the date!

Actually, quite nice, indeed.. Although I am no "gold boy", as you know.. Like the subdial, don't mind the pointer date solution..
.. The red Dualtime hand is a nice color accent.
