I find it to be problematic that the Collectors Market allows dealers to dominate the space. An easy solution would be to provide a separate market for private sales, but failing that, there should, in my view, be strict limits on the number of ads that can be posted by dealers over a specified period of time.
As I write this, "Lisalisa" has at least ten ads running, including several consecutive ones at the top of the list. What this does, among other things, is to push ads posted by individuals well down, if not off of the front page. I am aware of the fact that there is a search function, but that is beside the point.
I find this problem to be particularly acute and ironic given the choice of the default 'look' of the new site. In other words, there are good sized photos shown which have the effect of exacerbating the problem as multi-posting dealers literally dominate the space, and crowd out posts by individuals.
I do not sell many watches, but I must say that this problematic dynamic gives me pause when deciding whether or not to use the PP space.
