Not my personal type of watch, as the industrial look and car inspired aesthetic doesn't appeal to me, but I still thought interesting to post about it, together with its sibling from 2010: the L.U.C Engine One Tourbillon.

What a fun ref
Not my style, but I love how chopard makes so many cool and unique cases and designs. I love my Lange but they use the case on many different models, which is a great cas,e but I also like owning variety among my watches as well
Truly originally appealing,
and to me, the two versions with orange details stand out as the most aesthetically compelling

I realize that it's not to all tastes, but I've always loved the Engine One. The original vertically-oriented models were my favorites because they do look quite like the orientation of valve covers on a traditional V-format engine. These always struck me as a better approach to celebrating the axis of car and watch enthusiasts without slapping the logo of a specific car brand somewhere on the product.

Thank you for explaining why you prefer the original vertical version.
These watches were made for car lovers and having some engine-related knowledge (which isn’t my case unfortunately) certainly helps to fully understand and appreciate them.

This Buick Nailhead V8 really demonstrates the similarity to the vertical dial variant of the Engine One right down to the finned aluminum valve covers

I do too, but I know nothing about car
and I like how Tim explained his preference for the vertical-oriented version.
I really dig these pieces from Chopard and have been tempted in the past.
I especially like the over / under rectangular case in titanium with orange accents.
