Considering to upgrade my steel GMT Alarm by an X-71 but my AD does not have it fitted on any watch.
1. Does the X-71 offer any system for easy adjustment of length - a similar function like the JLC bracelets? Or after the adjustment to the "correct" number of links/half links, it is fixed length?
2. Would someone post a shot or two of some details of this bracelet, esp. the deployant?
Thx petr

X-71 has changed my GMT Alarm into a different watch.
I can confirm it is absolutely pleasant to wear. The clasp which is in contact with the wrist in the form of a sort of rods (not surface) prosents no problem (no biting into the skin I was afraid of). - Compared to the bracelets I know (JLC for Master Control, JLC for Master Compressor - but not Diving, Zénith, Vulcain) which are 5+ elements across, the X-71 seems much more solid, almost no lateral movement can be detected. I wonder if it is going to stay like this, or change over the years. Thanks to the half links, the fixed length can be very finely adjusted (but no further adjustments possible - in this respect, X-71 is inferior to JLC bracelets).
Aestetically, it is very pure in form, with a leisure-sportive touch.
I wish to thank the Blancpain Boutique Munich staff, for their friendly handling of my order, and patience in fixing the correct length of the bracelet.
(Note: the Boutique had the bracelet on stock with the matching end-piece (Anstoss), at a price substantially cheaper than what my AD quoted while the AD would have to order anyway - so the price difference was perhaps the premium charged for waiting?)
