A brain flow hit me this morning by looking at a Blancpain advertorial at LinkidIn. A Villeret with mp, i dug up a ref i find fabulous at 40mm pink gold triple calendar, it covered a lot as only a year disc would made it a perpetual calendar. But adding such a final complication would make a Villeret to fat, as the triple calendar stays slim.
I thought, lets ad a Fifty Fathoms to the game, and a Casio G shock when working on one of your classic cars, with oil hands, dirt on cloths…
A three peace watch collection that rock, and cover a lot of wat you need, when 3 stunning watches is all a person need, including watch enthusiasts.
If we had sufficient restraint most of us could cover all bases with 3 watches.

And cover them well as you point out.
Yet, as long as I’ve been buying watches, owning watches and posting on forums I still am not sure that I could pick 3 which would keep me engaged long term. So I personally do not have that restraint !!!
I've managed to get down to 4 plus a GADA watch so 5 really.

But being an addict and having a new addiction to Ultra Thin watches it is not easy, only the fact that I am know coming up to pension age and having no one to really pass watches onto keeps me in check. I have two Ultra Thin watches a Boucheron La Carree Ultra Thin ( That started my Ultra Thin obsession) and a Breguet Classique Ultra Thin then I have a Breguet Type XXI Chronograph and Chopard L.U.C Sport 2000 as my sports watch and lastly my GADA watch a UTS 1000M. This small selection covers all the bases i need and keeps me happy.
