I read a little about its history on other places. If you like, you can tell us about the proveniance of this diver. By the way, are there good news with your stolen Chopard? Best Regards Stephan
So, I have all the badges and everything that followed the watch. Although I’m an Army guy, I did notice an interesting badge provided with the kit, which if awarded as usual, makes the original owner special. Or just a collector of cool unit insignia. More to follow on that. With regards to my Chopard, the UK has an extradition treaty with PRC, but the steps to retrieving evidence like my watch takes an enormous amount of time. My current hope is to directly deal with the current consigner, but they aren’t negotiating in good faith. So, I’m resigned to the possibility that it will stay, and disappear, in China.
I think tan would look good, but in keeping with naval tradition, black or navy blue would probably fit best. I’m actually partial to finding a stainless steel bracelet that would fit it as well.
