As the calendar has turned to June, we have all had plenty of time to contemplate Audemars Piguet's newest 42mm Royal Oak Offshore collection. Thanks to my fellow Moderators, and thanks to many of you, our great members, we have all been able to see these 6 new Offshores repeatedly on our forum. And hopefully many of you had had the opportunity to see them live at local AP Boutiques and other authorized AP points of sale.
A bit under the radar is the wonderful new book AP has made to celebrate the new Offshore collection. All of the new models are finely captured. Even better, the first book within the orange binder contains a wonderful walk through all of the previous 42mm self-winding Royal Oak Offshores, including the Limited Edition versions. And an incredible list at the end of the volume summarizes these 118 references presented from 1993-2014. Every AP fan needs this volume in their collection.

Out of the new six, the grey dial is my favorite! :-)

Got the book along with the AP Royal Oak ball pen at the Offshore event. Was gonna do a post on it but i guess did not get the time. wonderful read and comprehensive one and must have for all Offshore fans…

Brown looks great!
Grey comes first and...
Blue second. I also love the warm feel of the Safari and the RG on leather strap, but their inner bezels in colors that are different from the rest of the dial make the watches look smaller than they are IMHO. The black one and the RG on bracellet do not appeal to me.
