hello everybody, i put aside a AP millenary 4101 rose gold, i wanted to know if it was a good choice... rose gold or should i go more towards steel? and for those who already posses one, what are your opinions on it? Is the mechanism reliable? So on..

for the skin and tattoo, he will look better on the Carbon ROO 44mm..=D

As for the movement, I never heard complaints on this watch... Nor on its movement.

I've been following your posts and you come off as an adventuress guy who enjoys life. Let's recap: One weekend you're speeding on your boat; another weekend you're vacationing in Cuba; then, you're rollerblading while wearing your Rubber Clad!

I love the AP Millenary 4101. I really do love her because she's beautiful and classy...but she says, "Let's get dressed up and go to the opera." Then, when you're bored wondering what time it is, you're going to have a hard time reading the minutes on your watch.

I think what would compliment your personality well (based on your posts) and look good on your manly wrist, would be the AP ROO Legacy.  She's sexy, bold, and ready for an adventure. Her ceramic bezel and casing mean that she can hang with you the next time you go rollerblading, biking, or enjoy the rugged outdoors. Also, her proportions make her the type of girl that can't be missed when she's on your wrist!

 

The Legacy is an amazing watch that would look uber cool on Don's wrist. I Also agree about the Milenary, it's a fantastic watch, but the fact is that some people really suit sports watches, especially with tatoos and broken body parts. One 'traditional' watch that I think still looks chunky and sporty, and may well look cool on Don is the Lange Double Split. If you want an amazing movement take a look at that bad boy.

For now though this months watch should be the Legacy. Save the Lange for september. But it's Don's choice!

Don I don't think the 4101 is you. And if you were to choose the SS would work much better with your skin tone.

i was thinking what everyone else was saying.  definitely not in gold, so if you insist, i think steel works best.  but frankly, your forearm overpowers, i think.  it just looks a little too delicate.  i don't think you have to abandon refinement, but a little more angularity and substance i think balances your physiognomy....  how about an urwerk?

...then I'd choose the rose gold version as it resembles the magnificent Deadbeat Seconds model and I, personally, love gold pieces.  This watch can easily be worn with jeans as well as a suit.  Regards, Steve

Hi Don! honestly i think your tattoo looks perfect with the rose gold, it even brings it out better, and besides you have quite a collection of offshores.. its time to add a classier piece, so 4101 is definitely the best choice, in fact i just fell in love with it after seeing those pics..

The Milineary looks truly amazing, blends greatly with the tattoo.
