Hi,
I am a new watch collector, i decided to acquire one watch of each brand and have a built a small collection :-
Rolex - S/S Daytona, AP Royal Oak offshore Rubber Black, IWC Big Pilot S/S Brown limited Saint Expurey, Patek 5130P Platinum World Time, and hopefully a Panerai 317 if i can get it.
I love the APs as a brand and was debating to break away from my rule of 1 watch a brand and get another AP either a Bumble Bee or Volcano till i saw recently the AP - Grand Prix (new) and fell in love with the black carbon / red edition which is limited to 1750, it is the right budget around $34k for me.
So need your advice....
- Does anyone know when this will be available for retail as it was recently launched in the Jan show ?
- How difficult will it be to get ? and what is the best way to insure i can get it ?
- Does AP offer its new watches for retail in any particular shop / area before or same time world wide? how can one place an order for it ?
Appreciate your advice....thanks.
as i was informed, so i guess it should be well within that period globaly.
your best chance is to contact your AP AD or BOUTIQUE and ask for availability and wheter you can put a down paiment or deposit IF ofcourse that is possible.
BOUTIQUES will sell at retail price so as to most ADs but that might differ from one place to another.
goodluck on your hunt

pierre was a great help as he a great gentlemen as well
hope to see you soon

well we ordered one RG and one FC but to be honest we haven't settled yet on who gets what
we've practicaly been fighting since our order
i guess we have to toss on it...
but i'm sure we'll both be happy with either
definatly will post as soon as i receive
we're going 50-50 on them for that exact reason then who ever desides what can accomodate the difference eiher way
i on the other hand am leaning towards the RG
