It is honestly incredible just how many more options there are once you go away from the royal oak and that is my fav part, the variety, if i had to pick one it would be either one of the grand complications mentioned here or this Edward Piguet Moss Agate Tourbillon ref. 26049OR.OO.D088CR.01 that quttro mentioned in a post on here www.watchprosite.com
What an incredible watch but all of the ones already mentioned here i wouldn't mind as well lol
Something was lost with the demise of the Jules Audemars and Edward Piguet and the 11:59 is no adequate compensation. Besides the Metropolis, I like the looks of the Edward Piguet and Jules Audemars chronographs, though would have been more impressed if, at their prices, they’d had integrated chrono movements. There were also a few extra-flat Jules Audemars that caught my eye over the years. Sadly, aside from the Metropolis, I’ve never had a chance to handle any of these.
(Funnily enough, the Royal Oak and its progeny have never done anything for me. I count myself as lucky on that point.)
