Born to be bold, when AP try to go outside the box. Results may not be good but still admire the vintage look.

I have tried it on at AP House, and thought the piece was pretty good in most ways. It's expensive but that seems normalized with brands nowadays.

Then came the vitriolic reaction by the watch community. Followed by silence.

ugly here. I don’t love the lugs but I don’t hate them either. The dial reminds me of some of the choices featured in the VC Historiques line

I wish AP would develop. There’s a lot to love about this timepiece. Judging from photos, I find it a little thick and would have preferred a hand wound movement, but maybe I wouldn’t care in real life. It’s still one of the most desirable modern AP for me.

As others have already said it would be great if Audemars Piguet did things like this more often.

I wish they had skipped the automatic movement, but even that is forgivable. It’s such a beautiful watch.

Not sure about the two tone case material, but beautiful case design and dial.

Would be tempting if AP release a Perpetual Calendar in this form.
