It really looks perfect on your wrist.  I still find the large wheels a bit overwhelming, but your wrist shot shows how balanced and cool the watch can look as a whole.👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

And seems incredibly versatile as sport or chic or technical - the photo didn't do a perfect job of showing the aventurine highlights - but I think it's another detail that makes this watch special!

Again, the large dark discs cover up most of dial, which I wish showed more aventurine beauty…but I at least saw some thanks to you. I’m sure in person it’s even better too.👌🏽

It also has a diverse mix of skeletonized finishes on the dial. And a black ceramic mid-case and crown!
All quite harmonious. I think without the ceramic and without the aventurine it would be a very different and sober look.

Political & Economic situation in Pakistan is really bad . Interest rates 25% and devaluation of the currency almost 60 percent year to year basis

I have just declined one, which I've been waiting for a while, but the timing is not right... too many "calls" this quarter!

cased in an innovative format makes for a beautiful combination.

We did discuss this before here...but after Remaster 01 I was totally hoping for a Starwheel or a 5516 Remaster. And lo and behold, the Starwheel appears...just incredible. I quite enjoy the canvas of the CODE and enjoy the dynamism the seconds hand provides to the dial - so this may be my number one wish!

...until you see how fat it is. Why didn't AP put in a manual movement? And at retail it is very pricey...

For me, this design is a little overwhelming as there’s a lot going on! I find the original AP Star Wheel to be more balanced and more classically elegant.

I guess that makes me a vote for old school and you a vote for new school. Vive la difference, mon ami! 😀

And the incredible dial on the OG coupled with the clear discs and the fabulous font make the original even more special. I know if I don't succeed in allocation then I will probably get the vintage piece anyway...or maybe both!!!

This said is a bit of a sad state of affairs that a client has to pray for an allocation. This is why I no longer buy APs

When there are even more incredible pieces released by manufacturers, playing with desirability and supply. I feel many times I'm playing with months to years of waitlists across several brands and sometimes being surprised (the Ceramic Beast) and being disappointed (a rare handicraft from PP...long story). Sadly, and perhaps begrudgingly, I accept this reality as part of the ownership experience for these pieces. Sorry to hear about your experience with AP.

What always makes me the most disappointed in the end - is when you wait so long, show a lot of bonafide interest, hear directly from key management of an allocation, and then you see your dream piece being sold to the grey market immediately at release, while you wait patiently. This is totally unacceptable to anybody - and is one that has turned me off on some brands recently.

That being said, thankfully, this slow trickle is a good thing for my bank account!

Anyway, now I wait, pray, and smile for the next piece

I still feel lucky to own 3 APs including the 39mm openwork rose gold ! but to me the key was the buying experience. I acquired all these watches by ADs and it was really such a pleasure to try on pieces and buy then. This was around 2017-8. Not everything was available but many pieces were ready to be purchased. I somehow moved away from all brands that decided to cut off ADs. Lange and Audemars Piguet are the most notable examples.
I am just an incredible impatient person so the wait ruins it for me 😅
But I am really intrigued by your reply "a rare handicraft from PP...long story" do tell! curious minds want to know ! "Ceramic Beast" I assume you got an unexpected allocation ?

Supply and demand I guess. But can anyone tell me what time it is on that watch face? I’m stumped.
