I found it interesting that Rolex decided to start producing in Titanium, though perhaps not entirely surprising given its level of attention to the quality of materials....the DSC was the perfect "excuse" in my view (it would have simply been impossible to offer in any of the usual metals! ;-), and now we even have the first YM. I'll be curious to see in which other lines T gets employed, but I'm sure Rolex will typically play it clever!

As for Patek, so far I counted only *13* wristwatches (not reference, but individual watches! ;-)) to have ever been produced in Titanium in 184 years!

Given the most exclusive role T has for Patek, my strong preference is for it to remain confined to unique pieces for charity and other one-offs....but you never know what the future has in store!
