Audemars Piguet

I would leave it as it is

Each time the watch is opened and serviced you are risking damaging something else. After all, they are also humans. If must, it should go back to HQ again as they were the ones that opened it in the first place.

I suffer with OCD but even I would leave the bezel rotated. If there is no new damage or other problems, leave it. My opinion.

I completely understand.

Not the first AP servicing problem, as many have already posted. My AP RO QP is in for service for the second time in less than a year. And the graciously let me know that it will be serviced under warranty from last time. And this is their Geneva Boutique I took it to...

AP RO QP

Mine has been in Switzerland for service since February this year and still waiting. Fingers crossed.

I would have expect more from AP but with some haute horlogerie brands, the after sales service can be beyond disappointing [nt]

I already gave 4 AP for a full service at the Geneva boutique and I never experienced any problem.

Regarding your bezel, may be a good watchmaker could help you if you know one. The only issue is to know if he owns an AP screwdriver to achieve this job.

My two cents.

Best wishes

My last AP was also sent to the Singapore service centre and I must say, they really messed the watch up. It even came back with scratched screws on the case back. I'm no longer an AP owner because of the poor service experience. [nt]

hi All,
I am happy to report that I spoke with their customer service manager in singapore and he agreed to make an exception to help do it in singapore.

I Guess that Common Sense and customer service prevailed in the end !

I'm a happy AP customer still !

Cheers all,
Nop

Well

Did they clarify whether or not their watchmakers are authorized to service QPs ? The question remains what they are able to service if even swapping the bezel has to be done as a service exception. Perhaps you can ask for an official written response from AP HDQ.
