Audemars Piguet

Walking passed an used watch shop & saw this ROO reference. It is a D series Winter Olympic LE of 98 pieces. The cobalt color dial & inner ring are so intense! The cobalt dial looks very similar to the 1997 HK LE as well!! I think it is a very rare piece! Unfortunately not in a very good condition & without any paper & box!!

I really wish AP would reissue this, and keep it pure to the original.  That dial is amazing.  Lovely, lovely, elegant yet masculine piece.

for this piece is amazing. I recalled that it's made to commemorate the 1998 winter Olympic at Nagano in Japan? I only wish it's in slightly bigger size. It almost feels like an offshore for lady given the sub 40mm size...

In the bright blue dial it is certainly unique.

also for Alberto Tomba who participated to this Olympics at skiing. He was also an AP ambassador same as Kasparov in that time. This Offshore was produced in 98 pieces and was delivered in the green octagonal  leather box which bears the autograph of Alberto Tomba in the innerside of the top.
